Subac does not offer in-app self-serve account deletion yet. To have an account and its associated data removed, send a request to [email protected] with the subject Delete my Subac account and the email address used to sign in.
What we remove
After we confirm the request, we delete the Subac account and the practice data stored with it, including:
- Name, email, and sign-in sessions
- Progress, scores, streaks, daily goals, and badges
- Mistake-journal transcript text
- Feedback you sent from the app
Recitation audio is used only to score a practice turn and is not kept as a recording library. If you pay through Stripe, card and invoice records stay with Stripe under Stripe's policy; we stop using the Subac customer record for that account.
If the account is a teacher or dugsi account, student records that teacher created on Subac are also removed. Tell us in the email if you only want a child or student removed and the teacher account should stay.
Parents and children under 13
A parent or guardian may request deletion for a child. Use the checkbox above or say so in the email, and include the child's Subac account email (or the teacher/parent email that holds the student name on a roster).
How long it takes
We aim to complete deletion within 30 days of a request we can verify. We may write back if we need to confirm it is your account.
